Royal Doulton - The Kaye Collection

Published in 1981 by Castlemaine Art Museum to coincide with the exhibition opening commemorating 50 years.

This exhibition of Royal Doulton having been collected over many years by V. and P. Kay, has attempted to cover a broad history of Royal Doulton ceramics, highlighting the most noted artists who worked for this successful firm. An endeavour was made to exhibit pieces that illustrated various styles and different techniques used , and to show the logical progression from the early achievements of the Doulton and Watts Pottery through the Lambeth Wares, the transition from Pinder, Bourne & Co.
