Jan Lancaster: Bloodlines the Coliban

Catalogue of works relating to the Coliban River.

The River is a universal symbol of life. Beginning in the mountains as spring or trickle, it runs into the sea in many moods, some placid, some turbulent before its dissolution and absorption into something much greater. If we compare our planet to the human body, the rivers are like veins and arteries, channels of replenishment and purification. Such thoughts arise as we contemplate Jan Lancaster's exhibition Bloodlines the Coliban.
